Here you will find some details of our Gites in Limousin. Our gites are clean and comfortable, the grounds are maintained to a high standard and the pool is checked and cleaned every day.

We are situated in a one-acre enclosed plot, with beautiful unrestricted views towards our local village of Le Chalard and perfectly situated for exploring the Limousin and Dordogne regions of France.
We have a lovely fully-terraced swimming pool, with roman steps, where you can cool off in the hotter months. The pool area is equipped with a solar shower, sun loungers/umbrellas and pool alarm.
Other external facilities include a badminton net, a toddler pool and a sand-pit.
For those who enjoy an ‘out of season’ break, we would suggest our ‘Stable’ accommodation which has a wood-burning stove.
All gites have private patio areas, with patio furniture and barbecue. A stair-gate is available on request. Electricity costs are included in the rental price.
Details for Limousin Barn Gites (4/6 persons each)
Barn gites are two identical accommodations, each comprising one half of a converted barn. They are decorated and furnished to a high standard. Each gite has two bedrooms, one with a double bed in each bedroom, and one with a double bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other. Each gite can accommodate 6 persons plus a cot (available for hire at a small charge).
Upstairs: Two bedrooms and a toilet/shower room, with storage unit, vanity sink etc.
Downstairs: Large open-plan living/dining/kitchen area and a second WC.
The lounge area is comfortably furnished with leather chairs and a convertible sofa and equipped with French terrestrial TV and DVD player.
The dining area contains a farmhouse-style table/benches for 6 persons.
The large kitchen area has floor level units with plenty of work-top space and is equipped with a built-in electric fan oven/grill with 4 ring flat-top hob, fridge/freezer and a micro-wave oven.
Details for Limousin Stable Gite (2 /3 persons)
Stable gite is a one mezzanine bedroom gite which can sleep 2/3 persons.
Upstairs: Mezzanine bedroom and shower-room
Downstairs: Large, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, WC and wash-basin.
The lounge area has a convertible sofa bed and is equipped with French terrestrial TV and a DVD player. Stable gite also benefits from a wood-burning stove, so is ideal not only for a summer break but also for an out-of-season break when the evenings can be cooler.
The dining area has a dining table which seats 4 people and the kitchen area is equipped with oak units, built-in electric oven/grill, flat-top hob, fridge/freezer and micro-wave oven.
Please note that wood is not included in the price for stable gite but may be purchased from us at cost price, or locally from supermarkets etc.

Wishing all of our past customers a very Happy and Healthy 2012, and a special thank you to our customers in 2011, who contributed to our donation to the Phoenix rescue association in the Dordogne. We donated 5 euros per booking, and together with the spare change contributed by our clients, the total donation was 100 euros. I am advised that this should pay for the much-needed sterilisation of two female cats.
