We had a lovely stay in the stable gites; the weather was so nice for September that we did not get the chance to try out the woodburning stove, much to our disappointment! We enjoyed visiting the countryside and especially appreciated not having to drive for hours to find interesting places to visit, such as, La Grotte de Villars, fascinating even for someone who prefers to be above ground!

Myself, my husband and 12 year old son stayed at the stable gite during the summer time and had the best time. The gite was very clean and we felt at home and very comfortable. My son had plenty to do, as did myself and my husband. The surroundings were fantastic and beautiful with plenty of places to visit within driving distance. If you don't want to drive anywhere then there is the lovely pool and grounds to entertain yourself in. The owners of the gite were very friendly, approachable and professional. Always happy to help. We couldn't have asked for better people to help us enjoy our holiday. We will most certainly return there and are looking forward to it, I would highly recommend the gites, the area and the owners!!

We had a very good & relaxing week in Barn Gite with Kay & Paul. They made us so welcome from the start, even ferrying our luggage up to the Gite. The rooms were pleasant & comfortable. We enjoyed a very hot week, so the pool was well used, & it was a joy to sit out in the warm evenings, with a BBQ or just a glass or two of red wine!. Limousin is a lovely & interesting area, & with such a comfortable & peaceful base to return to after a day's exploring we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gites du Sorbier for anyone seeking a French holiday.

We had a wondeful holiday, peaceful and relaxing and safe for the kids - just what we needed and wanted! The gite was beautiful and much bigger than it looks in the pictures!
